CEO & Co-founder of Mosaic Manufacturing
Mitch is a Co-Founder and the CEO at Mosaic Mfg. After discovering the power of 3D printing at a summer job during his undergrad at Queen’s, he started a company in Kingston in 2012 to create local access to this powerful technology. As a materials engineer, his passion for 3D printing aligned well with his studies and in his final year, he wrote a thesis on the deformation behavior of 3D printed objects under load. The 3D printing journey continued with the founding of Mosaic Mfg. in 2014 through the Queen’s DDQIC summer incubator program. Mosaic is now a 25-person, Toronto-based startup best known for bringing color to polymer-based 3D printing. Outside of 3D printing, Mitch is an avid water-skier, plays guitar, and is a big country music fan.
