David Wismer

David has over 19 years of investment banking experience including as Head of BMO Capital Markets’ Technology group. He is a trusted advisor to high-growth technology companies from early stage to multi-billion dollar public companies. David is passionate about innovation in Canada and speaks frequently on this topic. He is a leader in the Canadian technology community with relationships throughout the technology ecosystem from entrepreneurs, public and private investors, executives and directors.

He sits on the advisory board of the Canadian Innovation Exchange and was a former advisory board member of the C100. Prior to his investment banking career, David spent seven years in the IT consulting industry, opening a branch office for a firm in Dallas, Texas. David holds a MBA in Finance from SMU.
