Vice President of Kinectrics Inc.

Yung Hoang is a Vice President at Kinectrics Inc., the category leader in provision of life cycle management services for the electricity industry worldwide, including expertise in engineering, testing, inspection and certification.

He is a professional engineer in Ontario and possesses over 23 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. Yung previously held analysis/engineering, technical expert, chief engineer and executive management positions at Amec Foster Wheeler and its predecessor companies Ontario Hydro, OPG, and Bruce Power.

Currently he is VP of Design Engineering and Sites at Kinectrics, leading an international team of 350 engineers, analysts, technical experts, and project managers with specific focus on CANDU refurbishment and capital projects. His current business unit accountability by geography include Ontario, New Brunswick, Romania and USA offices.

Yung is a graduate of Western University (Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Science, and Biology degrees) and completed nuclear power studies at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm). He is a director on the board for Brain Cancer Canada, and previously the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries.
