Saim is in his third year of Mechanical Engineering at Queen’s University. He has come all the way from Dubai, U.A.E to complete his bachelor’s degree.

Saim was previously the Treasurer for CIRQUE 2019 and after attending the conference was astounded by how much he could do with his engineering background. He has always been a business minded person from investing in stocks, to spending hours daily to keep up with the global financial markets. This past summer Saim spent his time at a small start-up, that aided SME’s to compete with Big-Box retailers, where he oversaw licensing deals in the U.S.A, Canada, and Dubai. He is now trying to move into the digital transformation field as he believes that it is the future. In his free time, Saim indulges in reading, cooking gourmet meals, and playing soccer.

Saim is thrilled to be the Co-Chair 2020 as he believes that this the perfect opportunity to show to delegates the tremendous career paths that engineering students can pursue. With the various speakers and sponsors attending. Saim’s vision is that when these delegates leave CIRQUE 2020, they leave with an invaluable experience and vast network of connections.
